This policy explains what information Deep End Marketing collects when you use deependmarketing.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to this website. It does not cover the separate agreements we sign with clients, which set out how we handle information inside a paid engagement.

Information you give us
There are two places on this site where you actively hand us information: the enquiry form at the bottom of the homepage and the chat widget in the corner of the page. If you would rather write to us directly, the email address above reaches us the same way.
Enquiry form
The form at the bottom of the homepage asks for your first and last name, phone number and email address, along with checkboxes recording whether you consent to receive text messages from us. The form is hosted for us by HighLevel, Inc. ("GoHighLevel"), and what you submit goes into our customer relationship management system, where we use it to run the audit you asked for and to get back to you.
Chat widget
The chat widget in the bottom corner is operated for us by HighLevel, Inc. ("GoHighLevel"). If you start a conversation, we receive the messages you send and any contact details you type into it. The widget also loads a location lookup so it can format phone numbers correctly for your country, which means your approximate location is derived from your IP address when the widget starts up.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, this one records some technical information whenever a page loads. We do not use it to identify you personally:
- Server logs. Our host records IP address, the page requested, the time, and basic browser and device information.
- Fonts. The typefaces on this site are served from our own server, not from a font CDN, so loading a page does not expose your IP address to a third-party font provider.
- Chat widget storage. The chat widget stores a small amount of data in your browser so a conversation can continue if you navigate or come back later.
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager on this site. They set cookies in your browser and send Google a record of the pages you visit, roughly where you are, what device you use and how you got here. Google's own use of that data is covered by its privacy policy. We use it to see which pages get read and which do not. We do not run a Meta pixel or any advertising cookie. To opt out, install Google's browser add-on or block third-party cookies in your browser.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions.
- To prepare and discuss a proposal, quote or audit you asked for.
- To contact you about our services by email, phone or text, where you have given us your details for that purpose.
- To provide and improve our services once you become a client.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
By giving us your phone number you agree that we may call or text you about your enquiry. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will. Message and data rates may apply.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We do use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:
- HighLevel, Inc. (GoHighLevel) — our customer relationship management system and the provider of the enquiry form and chat widget. Enquiries and conversations are stored there.
- Vercel Inc. — hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and chat conversations for as long as we are in contact with you about them, and afterwards for as long as we may need them for our records — normally no more than three years from our last contact. Client records are kept for as long as the engagement lasts and for seven years afterwards, to meet accounting and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold. Email us and we will tell you what information we have about you.
- Correct it. If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
- Delete it. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
- Stop hearing from us. Reply "stop" to a text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or just tell us.
- Block the chat widget. Blocking third-party scripts or clearing site data in your browser will stop the widget loading.
Write to john@deependmarketing.com for any of these. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local law, and we will honour those where they apply to us.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and the systems we use to store enquiries are protected by access controls and passwords held only by people who need them. No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
This site links to other websites we do not control, and our clients' websites are separate from this one. This policy does not apply to them. Check the policy of any site you visit.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be made clear on the page.
